Kim Aldis is a retired digital special effects artist, 3D animator and photographer. He now lives near Torquay in the UK’s South West where he spends his time walking his dogs and photographing the people and landscapes of South Devon.
He exhibits from time to time and has a permanent show of work in a local pub. He also, occasionally, takes commissions and rather enjoys portraiture and photographing weddings. As well as many years of experience in CG effects and animation for film and television he has a degree level qualification in Creative Photography (London College of Printing, 1975-78).
Kim is also a passable drummer; he plays regularly at pubs and clubs around Torquay.
